I am delighted to try to contribute to the LGC's current efforts to raise funds for its essential roof repairs. Whilst this weather site is essentially my own, rather than that of the club, I am keen to invite annual donations to the club through this site of a minimum £350. I will be happy, if required, to acknowledge any such donations, and, if appropriate, to show web site links.

Synopsis |
Warm sector with anticyclonic curvature. Cloudy but with a chance of bright or sunny spells around the middle of the day. Moderate visibility, becoming good from mid-morning. Trial lessons should be okay, with the possibility of extending on the hill making up for the lowish cloudbase. Wind profile with height suggests reasonable chance of wave. Just a reminder, whilst the cabbage patch is now in use for aerotow take offs, it is preferable that you do not land on it unless there is no safe alternative. Turning gliders on the spot digs holes into the ground and recovery buggies will drive across it in random directions. |

Friday warm sector to start, becoming frontal p.m. Saturday, provided the front clears, nice day, with the wind on the hill, and some thermals. Sunday dry but cloudier south westerly wind. Monday between fronts, okay after a dull start. |
